About Me
My name is Ms. Robledo, and this is my first year as an English Teacher. Last year, I worked at Reese as the Special Education Teacher.
I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2017 with a B.A. in English. I have a teaching certificate in 4-12 English, SPED, and ESL Supplemental. I am originally from California but feel right at home in Lubbock! I enjoy reading, blog writing, hanging out with my dogs, and hiking. I am very excited to continue my teaching journey at Reese Education Center.
Vision
As a secondary English educator, my goal is to help students self-develop into the best possible version of themselves through the guided exploration of stories, texts, and philosophies. Overall, I strive to help each student reach their maximum potential. I believe that every student can succeed with guidance, excellent resources, and a growth mindset.
In my classroom, students will have the opportunity to engage meaningfully in their educational, personal, and social development. I teach students how to think, not what to think. Through a focus on grammar, logic, and rhetoric, students will develop a foundation of critical thought and reason—these skills will help students succeed in college and career.
