Frenship Foundation's Character Scholarship Application Now Open

Attention Frenship High School seniors! The Frenship Foundation for Leadership is now accepting applications for the 2020 Character Scholarship. Applications are due March 6, 2020 by 4:10 p.m.

Since 2003, the Frenship Foundation has awarded more than $766,000 in scholarships to 324 FHS students. These seniors exemplify exceptional character including community involvement and leadership positions.

“We believe it’s so important to recognize and reward character and leadership qualities in our students,” said Emily Solis, Director of the Frenship Foundation. “Our scholarship program validates those students who choose to make good decisions, even when times get tough. This is one of my favorite parts of the Foundation – seeing kids rewarded for good character.”

These student scholarships are made possible by community support including the fundraising efforts through the annual Drive for Leaders golf tournament.

The Foundation is looking for seniors who demonstrate strong qualities of character, leadership, service and effort. Seniors interested in applying should complete the application process and turn in the required documents by March 6th.
