Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Frenship ISD staff members are still finding ways to continue growing as educational leaders through meaningful professional development training. This week, administrators, instructional coaches and content coordinators tuned in virtually to the NWEA MAP Users Conference to learn new techniques to use in the classrooms.

The Frenship ISD Communications Department and Frenship.TV earned five gold awards and a "Best of Category" award for their work on Frenship ISD communications projects.

Digital Citizenship is a concept that teaches our students how to use technology appropriately; similar to teaching kids to be good citizens. Frenship students learn new concepts each new six-weeks. Lessons about Privacy and Security Online began this week.

In an effort to help our community during this historic winter storm, Frenship ISD will offer free curbside meals to any child age 18 or younger on Friday, February 19.  All children are welcome regardless of what school district they attend.

During the February 15 school board meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the District’s 2021-2022 Academic Calendar.

Donning their Frenship gear and wearing a smile, more than 70 Frenship students spent their Saturday helping the Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock hand out more than 1,200 boxes of free food to community members in need.

During the month of February, designated as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, Frenship ISD is excited to recognize the highly successful CTE program that is shaping Frenship students’ futures.

On Saturday, February 6, more than 1,000 free boxes of fresh produce, meat, and dairy products will be available for children and families in Lubbock County.

Along with a group of 27 teachers from 25 different districts in West Texas, two Frenship educators completed their training for Project TEDD: Training Educators in Dual Diagnosis through a training program hosted by Texas Tech University.
