Frenship High School's top academic students from the sophomore, junior and senior classes were awarded for their classroom efforts at the Superintendent’s Academic Excellence Banquet.

Support Professionals of the Year, Rookie Teachers of the Year, Teachers of the Year, service pin recipients and retirees were honored at FISD annual Staff Appreciation Banquet Thursday night at Texas Tech University.

The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains honored FISD Superintendent Dr. Michelle McCord as one of four Lubbock area Women of Distinction honorees during the organization’s annual banquet.

The Frenship High School Choir program invites the community to see their musical production of Pirates of Penzance scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, May 11-12 at the FHS Performing Arts Center. Both shows begin at 7:00 p.m.

Thanks to the incredible FHS students in the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, faculty and staff at Frenship ISD had a fantastic time Saturday night at the 80s Throwback Prom.

More than 1,000 elementary and middle school students competed in the Get Excited About Robotics (GEAR) competition Saturday, April 14 which is an eight-week LEGO robotics challenge for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

In an effort to broaden the horizons of students, Reese Education Center hosted a Career Fair with representatives from major medical systems, restaurants, branches of the military, and more.

The Frenship ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2018-19 school calendar Monday night during their monthly meeting at the Casey Administration Building.
