This week at the First Friday Art Trail, several Frenship High School students will display and sell original artwork at the Therese Barrett Photography Studio. For the first time, four Frenship students will conduct a reading from their creative writing projects.

Allen Tanner, Frenship’s Maintenance Coordinator, is one of the eight recipients across the nation to be honored with the FacilitiesNet third annual Facility Champion Award. Frenship is proud of Tanner and his continuous dedication to the district.

On September 25, Frenship ISD hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Frenship’s newest campus and ninth elementary school, Ridgewood Elementary.

With the start of the new school year, Frenship High School Advanced Floral Design class is once again excited to offer the Flower of the Month Club. This program allows students to gain real-world, career-focused experience while also offering creative floral arrangements to Frenship staff.

Students at Reese Education Center continue to explore post-graduation pathways during presentations by Lubbock Christian University and Workforce Solutions, as part of a program designed to inform them about opportunities awaiting them.

Construction on the Frenship High School Ninth Grade Center is in full swing. These additions are to re-purpose the campus into the new home of Frenship Middle School starting the 2025-2026 school year.

Farley Reeves, Chief Financial Officer at Frenship was recently welcomed to the Property Casualty Alliance of TX Board of Trustees. Reeves is looking forward to serving on the Board and representing Frenship ISD.

This week, a representative from South Plains College visited Reese Education Center to introduce students to their cosmetology program, offering insights into career opportunities and program details.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Hope. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across the Frenship District.

Through community support and district collaboration, Frenship ISD continually ensures that no student goes without food over the weekend through the Tiger Bites program.
